The Presbyterian Church of Sweet Hollow  Gala Retirement  Celebration held May 21, 2000 honoring The Reverend John L. Wallace and Judith M. Wallace.

Over 120  people gathered at the Huntington Town House for a most  enjoyable, entertaining, informative and memorable  event. There were many honored guests and family members as well as many members of the congregation including several who had  moved away and made the trip to be there. The committee who organized the event led by Bill and Sukey Walter did a great job as  did the MC for the event, Bill Schell. The event kept moving with a combination of Church history, stories about John and Judy and a series of hilarious skits, performed by the Sweet Hollow Players between portions of the meal. John and Judy were also honored with many wonderful gifts starting with plants for their garden, tee shirts and coffee mugs with a photo of the Church  and ending with a generous  check for their retirement years. It was clear that everyone wanted to thank them for all their years of service and wish them a wonderful retirement.
