The Presbyterian Church of Sweet Hollow joins together with the King of Kings Lutheran Church to share in the ministry of Vacation Bible School.  This fun-filled, educational day camp occurs the first full week in August – this year, we were in session Monday, August 1^st through Friday, August 5^th.  The joint was jumping with 71 children and adult leaders and teenaged jr. team leaders numbering almost 50.

Our theme this year was Jerusalem Marketplace: Where Jesus Walked to the Cross.  Children aged 3 to 13 learned through Song, Story, Arts & Crafts and Games about Judaism in the ancient world, what life was like back then and Jesus’ journey leading ultimately to our salvation.  The week was non-stop energy-filled teaching ending with a Friday evening celebration and barbeque for parents, grandparents and kids alike.
