Auto Rally 2001

On September 23rd, 2001 a Sunday afternoon - An Auto Rally was held at Sweet Hollow .  Starting at 3 PM at the church, cars spaced at 5 minute intervals  left the parking lot and followed clues directing them along a scenic and picturesque route leading to a restaurant for a delightful dinner.  It was a restaurant with a view!  Even if you did not want to drive or use your own automobile you were able to participate.    A sealed envelope with the name and directions to the restaurant was given to each car along with the list of clues, so you could break off the rally at any time and drive directly to the restaurant.   Over 30 people joined in for the Rally.
