Connie & David Wilkerson Depart for Oregon

Connie and David Wilkerson are moving to scenic, sunny, southern Oregon.  Their new home isn't ready yet, but we can stay in touch with them at the following temporary address: 832 Park Street, Ashland, OR 97520.  Their new telephone number is: 541-482-6246 which they expect will remain the same when their new home becomes ready for them to move in.  Their email addresses also will not change.  They are: revconster@aol.com for Connie and davidwilkersonaia@yahoo.com for David.  David will be a partner with Ogden Kistler Architects and Connie will be one of three ministers at St. Mark's Church in Medford, Oregon.  As they depart they report that they'll be hiking, rafting and skiing but will never forget the wonderful friends they've made in New York.

Dr. Robert M. Close. Jr. Becomes Sweet Hollow's Temporary Supply Pastor

Dr. Robert M. Close, Jr. has been engaged by the Session as Temporary Supply Minister as we continue our search for a new permanent pastor.  Reverend Close served as pastor of the John Calvin Presbyterian Church in Annandale, Virginia from 1970 to 1997.  More recently he has served on Long Island as pastor at the Presbyterian Church in Garden City and as Stated Supply at the Brookfield Presbyterian Church in Manorville.  He lives in Great Neck and we will warmly welcome him for his first Sunday service with us on September 29th.
