Confirmation Retreat

Nunemaker Lodge at the Presbyterian Center at Holmes, NY

On March 23rd and 24th, 2001 four young people from our Church were among a group of 67 who attended a Confirmation Retreat lead by our Rev Connie Wilkerson and Rev. Jeff Geary, Setauket Presbyterian Church. The four young people from our Church were Justin Sommermeyer, Laura Guichard, Claire Papell and Chris O'Connor. This retreat was held at the Presbyterian Center in  Holmes, NY. Connie Wilkerson is also on the Broad of Directors  for this facility acting as their Treasurer .

                
 The Jesus Retreat - The most important part of the confirmation process is to name and to own our growing relationship with Jesus Christ.   "Who do you say I am?" is the central question Jesus still asks us.  Utilizing paint, visual art, songs, drama & prayer, students on this retreat will explore their relationship with Jesus and His claims for their lives.
