Dear Sweet Hollow Members and Friends:           

Your Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) has exciting news to announce to the congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Sweet Hollow. 

After reviewing approximately one hundred resumes, visiting churches from Philadelphia to Wilton, Ct. and carrying out many telephone and personal interviews, your PNC is pleased to announce our unanimous recommendation of Reverend Rebecca Lynne Segers to be our next permanent pastor.  

Rebecca is presently the Associate Pastor of the Wilton Presbyterian Church in Wilton, Connecticut where her responsibilities have included Youth Ministries, Mission and Women’s Ministries for the past few years. 

           As part of the Presbyterian process for calling a new Pastor, Rev. Segers will conduct the worship service before our congregation on Sunday June 22^nd at 10:00 am.   Following the worship service there will be a congregational meeting to accept Rebecca Segers and her Terms of Call to serve as the pastor of our church.   

After a short reception in the Fellowship Hall we will move outside for the Annual Church Picnic, which is also scheduled for June 22^nd, and enjoy games, barbecue and more fellowship.  This year we have the added blessing of welcoming and meeting Rev. Rebecca Segers during the annual picnic.   

Sunday, June 22nd will be a truly exciting day for our congregation.  Please plan to be there to join the celebration as our church takes a major step forward with the presentation and confirmation of our new permanent pastor Rebecca Lynne Segers and take time afterward to enjoy the fellowship of our Annual Church Picnic.
