Women 4 Women’s mission statement is to be “a spiritually creative group of women aged 21 and over who meet to share the fun of Life’s Journey together”. W4W was developed by a team of women who wanted to provide spiritual sustenance and nurture to the women in the community through a variety of inspirational and entertaining activities.

We meet the first Monday of the month from October to May from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with each month’s activity different from the last, finishing the year in June with an overnight Retreat.  (This year’s exception is the November meeting, which will actually occur the fourth Monday night in November in order to decorate the church building for Advent.  This may sound like “work,” but it is also “play” as we enjoy hot chocolate and Christmas goodies, string popcorn and cranberries, make paper chain links and hang the greens to present an Old-Fashioned Christmas appearance to our historic building and grounds.)  As a general rule, we hold a meeting at the church alternate months and go out into the community alternate months.

Nov. 22^nd       An Old-Fashioned Christmas Decorating Party

Dec. 6^th          Pottery Painting Night at “Clay Nation” in Glen Cove

Jan. 3^th           Feast of Forgiveness Workshop

Feb. 7^th              Valentine’s Movie and Coffee Discussion afterward

Mar. 7^th           Murder Mystery Night with “Befores & Afters”

Apr. 4^th           Lenten Meditation Night with Labyrinth Walk

May 2^nd          High Tea and Maypole (all women and girls invited to this annual event)

June 3^rd-4^th   Retreat at a spiritual center on LI
